2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: I'm not talking to you Zoloft because you are a bad friend, my opinions on that Moore asshole are perfectly supported and the BEST PART of the movie Team America was when that pig blew himself up...it's BG's fault for antagonizing me, but whatever, take that whore’s side. i hope her and her child die. along with the rest of you. GOOD BYE
2006-06-17 [HowlofDoom]: *taps foot* Well hello everyone...
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: I believe I'm the only person on Elfpack that has actually met [zoloftzantac] in person, and I can assure all of you he is NOT a bad friend at all. He is one of the most genuine, caring, loving individuals one could hope to meet in life. [RabidSphinx] your comments about [BlindGuardian] are not called for and certainly not welcomed here. This wiki is a Safe Zone. Please [RabidSphinx] try to honor and respect that, and if you can't, I believe you need to take your hatred elsewhere. [zoloftzantac] is not taking anyone's side - he's asking those who choose to participate here to practice tolerance - to be respectful of one another's opinions.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: Being respectful of each other's opinions, thoughts, feelings and ideas does not mean that you will agree with them... it simply means you respect that each individual participating here has the right to express those opinions, feelings, thoughts and ideas in this space, knowing it is safe to do so.
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: i do not respect thouse who do not give a shit about my feelings, but PLEASE, if you are gunna preach to me, do it in PMs not on her...no one else gives a fuck and i wont be able to respond while "honoring" zolofts stupid wiki
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: [RabidSphinx] - can you share with me why you feel the people participating on this Wiki don't care about your feelings? Because looking at it from where I sit, I believe they do care... They respond to your comments - there is a level of caring when one responds to another.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: My comments are not meant to sound preachful, and I apologize if they do.
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: i do not have you blocked you know...and you are not really listening to me when i say you should PM me if you wish to talk...i'm NOT doing it here because the people here....*run on sentace with lots of cuss words*
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: [RabidSphinx] I am listening to you - I hear what you're saying - I do. I wouldn't know if you have me blocked or not, as I've not attempted to send you a private message. Unfortunately, I rarely use private messages, so using them is not an option for me.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: You mentioned a couple of weeks ago that you'd not slept in a few days, and that when you're sleep-deprived
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: then message me on one of my meany wikis. i'm not talking to you or anyone else here. all i need is for more people to laugh at me...no thank you
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: [RabidSphinx] - I don't believe anyone is laughing at you... I know I'm not. I'll respect your wishes to no longer talk to you. Honoring someone's boundaries is something I wholeheartedly support. I wish you well...
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: clearly you are missing my point, but i guess that is no loss to me.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: If I'm missing your point, please enlighten me...
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: i did not say "i do not wish for you to talk to me" i said not HERE
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: I understand - and yes, you did say that... but I rarely post in other forums.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: Meaning, yes, you did say that you would talk to me, just not here... I don't want you to think I've misunderstood you.
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: oh for god's sake...>< you are just being difficult now, only proving that you do not really care about my feels but just want me to say stuff on this wiki and get me banned. no thank you.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: I'm not at all trying to be difficult, and I'm sorry if you are perceiving me to be. I do care about your feelings, as well as the feelings of the other people posting in this forum. And I in no way would like to see you banned - that solves nothing.
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: it only makes everyone else happy, and if there is one thing i strive not to do, is make other people happy when i cannot be happy myself.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: It surprises me to hear that you strive not to make others happy because as an incredibly talented artist and author... I believe you unknowingly do so. I hear that you're not happy - I hear that your angry.
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: hear? as in people talking about me? *swears a lot*
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: And I don't think you're alone in how you feel. In viewing some of the houses here at EP, I have a sense there are many participants who are not happy.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: No, [RabidSphinx], no one is talking about you to me.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: I pride myself on my honesty, and if I tell you no one is talking about you to me, please believe that.
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: well, write me off as emo and an attention seaking whore like everyone else.
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: When I used the word "hear" in my sentence above, I was referencing what I "hear" when you make your statements - I was not in any way referencing anyone else
2006-06-17 [~*Astarte*~]: I would not call you those names you've used above... I wouldn't call anyone by those names.
2006-06-17 [RabidSphinx]: call me names. it's fun!
2006-06-17 [HowlofDoom]: .......
2006-06-17 [kittykittykitty]: Maybe we should change the subject? ^_^
2006-06-17 [HowlofDoom]: maybe
2006-06-17 [Bookwyrm]: ::hugs [HowlofDoom] and [kittykittykitty]:: Hey guys! ^-^ How're you? Oh! Congratulation
2006-06-17 [HowlofDoom]: YAY *hugs [Mothry Witch]* Long time no see!
2006-06-17 [Bookwyrm]: ::grins and hugs back:: Yeah, I've been on a slight sabbatical. I was spending as much time with Scott as I could before he left. He's going away tomorrow. ^-^ But he'll be back in nine weeks, so no biggie. How are you, [HowlofDoom]?
2006-06-17 [kittykittykitty]: Hiiiiii ^_^ Didn't mean to seem rude with not replying, I just lose track of things too quickly :P
2006-06-17 [Bookwyrm]: ::smiles:: It's alright kitty. ^-^ We still love you. ^-^
2006-06-17 [kittykittykitty]: Yay! *glompers everyone in the room* Sorry to hear your partner is away again, but we are here to cheer you up ^____^

2006-06-18 [HowlofDoom]: I'm doin ok how are you?
2006-06-18 [Bookwyrm]: Ah, some days up...some days down, you know how that goes. ^-^ I'm glad to hear you're doing well. I feel like we haven't spoken in ages. ^-^'
2006-06-18 [HowlofDoom]: lol.. we haven't.... and My life has been just the same... It's just routine to say I'm doin ok
2006-06-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::half-smiles:
2006-06-18 [HowlofDoom]: I know...... I'm finel... just in one of my.... evil moods at the moment.. hahaha
2006-06-18 [Bookwyrm]: Ahh, I gotcha. ^-^ That's okay ::hugs:: I'll hug you none-the-less. Unless you ask me not to. I'll respect your distance if that's what you want. ^-^
2006-06-18 [HowlofDoom]: nah.. I'm pretty much back to my normal depressed self and could use a hug
2006-06-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::clings to [HowlofDoom] and gives roses, and cookies, and gigantic teddy bears:: Cheer up! People love you! ^-^
2006-06-18 [HowlofDoom]: heh... thanks... but all i wanted was a hug......
2006-06-18 [Bookwyrm]: Well you deserve more than that. ::continues to hug:: But you get the hug too. ^-^
2006-06-18 [HowlofDoom]: *hugs back* well thank you
2006-06-18 [Bookwyrm]: You're welcome. ^_^ ::hugs again:: Well, I hate to leave now, but it's 3:38AM where I am and I took a pain-killer about two hours ago so I'm zonked! Talk to you later, hon. Ciao!
2006-06-18 [kittykittykitty]: *draws a picture of [HowlofDoom] and [Bookwyrm] and sticks it to the refridgerator door* ^____^
2006-06-18 [Bookwyrm]: Ahaha awww. ::makes a huge, decorative sign that says: "[kittykittykitty] is the best giffie-hugger on Elfpack! All hail the giffie-hugger!
2006-06-18 [kittykittykitty]: Yaaaa! ^___^ *runs to the giffie-pet sanctuary to tell all the giffies about the sign* :P
2006-06-18 [HowlofDoom]: hehe.. yay! lol... :D
2006-06-18 [kittykittykitty]: :D
2006-06-18 [HowlofDoom]: lol... how awesome
2006-06-19 [Bookwyrm]: Ahaha, that's cute XD Wow my hair is long...o.o Awesome! XD ::hugs [kittykittykitty]
2006-06-19 [kittykittykitty]: For the randomness.... ^___^ *hugs back*
2006-06-19 [HowlofDoom]: *hugs both of you*
2006-06-22 [BlindGuardian]: 4
2006-06-22 [kittykittykitty]: 4? four? foooore? er... huh? o___0
2006-06-22 [BlindGuardian]: Oops, I meant to put "4" in the "older comments" box. No wonder it didn't work, hehe ^_^
2006-06-22 [kittykittykitty]: Haha :P
2006-06-22 [BlindGuardian]: I just don't know where I left my head this days...
2006-06-22 [Bookwyrm]: On your shoulders. ^_^
2006-06-22 [BlindGuardian]: *checks* Wow, it's there!! *hugs and kisses [Bookwyrm]*

2006-06-22 [HowlofDoom]: *wags tail*
2006-06-23 [Bookwyrm]: Ahaha ::hugs [HowlofDoom] too:: Don't worry I didn't forget about you. :P
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: Saw "An Inconvenient Truth" this past weekend... Thought provoking to be sure. The statistics are shocking...
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: "Who Killed the Electric Car?" is released soon... should be interesting...
2006-06-28 [zoloftzantac]: I am more interested in "Who killed the electric car?" Tho I'm thinking riht now that the real answer is nobody. *gets back to working on his design for a bio-desiel serial hybrid car*
2006-06-28 [L V F]: -hums and sharpens knives-
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: I think society did... (kill the electric car that is)
2006-06-28 [zoloftzantac]: It was too expensive, was too limited in driving range, and didn't really solve any problems since in order to create enough enegery to drive your electric car you have to create even more energy than you use. (due to the ineffeciantcy of creating, transporting and storing electric energy) At this time almost all of that energy comes from the big enegy corps in the form of burning cole, gas or oil in power plants. In other words, unless you use hydro, wind solar of nuclear power, in order to drive an electric car there is a dirty power plant somewhere that is making your electricity.
2006-06-28 [zoloftzantac]: Looking at the law of conservation of energy, it is easy to show that if you get you power from a dirty power plant, that an electric car creates *more net polution* then a normal car. This is because the process of creating, transporting and storing electic enegry is less effecant that creating, storing and transporting gasoline. This means that the power plant has to burn extra fuel to both make the electricity for the electric car and over come these ineffecantcies
2006-06-28 [¤♫♪Ģєήίε♫♪¤]: Yeah... There were too many bugs in it.
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: It is my understanding though that we have the ability to create an electric car that utilizes clean energy... am I incorrect?
2006-06-28 [zoloftzantac]: well, sure, the existing electric cars could do it IF you could get the clean energy. Some people are doing it now by running the eletric cars on solar power. some areas get most of their power from hydro-electric damns also, it is just a matter of access to clean electricity, most of us don't have that
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: but do we not have it because our society, as a whole, is happy with status quo... meaning most people are not willing to make the changes necessary to make the use of clean energy widespread. If we really wanted to make change - really, truly cared enough about our environment to do what it takes to make the use of clean energy common place, we'd make it happen. I think of a coven syster I have - she's in her mid-twenties, dynamic, down-to-earth, LOVES Mother Earth... she works 3 jobs, and goes to school full-time... she recently (a few months ago) gave up driving her car, and rides her bike everywhere. She completed a roundtrip to Portland one month ago with her black lab mix in tow...
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: think about how many people could do this - give up their gas-guzzling vehicles for the use of foot-powered ones... Even those of us with children can make a difference... When it came time for my Explorer to move onto it's next plane of existence, I purchased a smaller, more fuel-efficient car. One of the things that irks the heck out of me is seeing a single person or even a couple driving around in a gas-guzzling SUV - stupid - just plain stupid.
2006-06-28 [zoloftzantac]: Have you seen "THE END OF SUBURBIA: Oil Depletion and the Collapse of The American Dream" http://www.end
2006-06-28 [L V F]: -watchs-
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: re my comments above about my coven syster's bike trip - one way it was approx. 656.54 miles (from CA to OR) - she did this roundtrip
2006-06-28 [L V F]: damn well that had to be fun.
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: I have not seen it *makes note to watch it*... but some of the comments you make are very similar to those that were made in "An Inconvenient Truth"...
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: She had a blast! She purchased a child bike-carrier (the type you tow behind a bike) and her dog, Buzz, traveled with her
2006-06-28 [zoloftzantac]: Only corperations and the wealthy will be able to afford oil. As a result, the film predicts that people will be forced to move out of the suburbs and much closer to where most of them work. (in the cities) They figure this will happen at such a great rate that home values will dive (especially since they seem to be over valued anyway) and that this will result in a total economic collapse because millions of people will end up defaulting on their motgages. It is a real problem, renewable enegry could stop it, but there seems to be very little going on to develope it.
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: I hear and appreciate what you are saying... But think about it - would not it be better, overall, if we worked in the same community we live in (if at all possible)? Lowered commute times allowing for more time to be spent with friends, family, loved ones - not to mention the positive impact on pollution (shorter commute distance = lowered emmissions = better for the environment)... The question I ask myself is "Why is there very little going on to develop clean energy?"
2006-06-28 [zoloftzantac]: The answer is that there is no money in it right now, and that is all most people care about. Figure out how to make money with clean energy and investers will beat a path to your door.
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: There is no money in developing clean energy? But is it because we as a society haven't demanded change? Doesn't change begin with one's self?
2006-06-28 [zoloftzantac]: A capitalistic society is driven by the almighty dollar. Even recycling went no where until someone figured out how to make money by doing it.
2006-06-28 [~*Astarte*~]: Well, I guess I'm a freak then - not like most people. Most of my decisions in life have not been based on whether or not there was money to be had from the decision I made.
2006-06-28 [zoloftzantac]: You aren't alone, but very few people really put their money where their mouth is. Even the people who put solar panels on their roofs don't do it just out of the goodness of their hearts, they found a formula that will let them save money in the long run. Some hybrid car drivers may be more like you, most formulas say you will loose money in the long run vs buying a normal car. Some of those people do it out of the goodness of their hearts, but many are banking on fuel prices going thru the roof in the next decade. (which for them gives them a formula of saving money)
2006-06-29 [~*Astarte*~]: *closes her eyes and imagines biking to Portland, OR with one's best friend - a dog - along for the ride*
2006-06-29 [zoloftzantac]: Portland is a fun town to ride a bike in, I did that for a few days last summer. It is a great city. (ofcourse I drove my bike there and then rode it around tho)
2006-06-29 [~*Astarte*~]: Hey, if I could say good-bye to my car, I would. My reality is I can't. Not that I won't - I can't... And J, you know why. Tis my reality. But I do live and work in the same city, and my boys go to school in the same city we live in. My lifestyle is such that I only use one tank of gas per week - and surprisingly enough, this week, I don't have to fill up yet... If everyone just changed one thing - it's better than changing nothing. As Al Gore states in "An Inconvenient Truth" having his son in the PICU for one month really gave him a different perspective on life and the world around him...
2006-07-04 [~*Astarte*~]: "Imagine... Imagine connecting with the human spirit in each person in any situation. Imagine interacting with others in a way that allows everyone's needs to be equally valued. Imagine connecting with what is alive in ourselves and in the other moment-to-mome
2006-07-04 [kittykittykitty]: ..with the intent that what we do will make life more wonderful." That's nice :) I go by: “Do everything with so much love in your heart that you would never want to do it any other way.” ~Yogi desai ^__^ Kinda the same sentiment, but shorter and easier to remember :P
2006-07-04 [~*Astarte*~]: Your shared quote is beautiful - thank you for posting it! Indeed, living a life based on love is a fabulous way to live...
2006-07-05 [kittykittykitty]: It's sad that more people can't find enough to share it around :( That quote inspires me so much: if I'm thinking whatever cause I'm persuing is futile, I remember that it's not always about the end result, but how you get there that matters ^__^
2006-07-05 [L V F]: -spreads my leathery wings and glances around than flys off-
2006-07-13 [HowlofDoom]: *looks around then darts off*
2006-07-13 [catelf]: No talk since the fifth of the seventh except [HowlofDoom]'s comment? We can do better than that!
2006-07-13 [Bookwyrm]: ::eats [catelf]'s toes 'cause she got too excited from the new comment::...::
2006-07-13 [catelf]: *inspects toenail*... aw, you left me my favourite one!
2006-07-13 [Bookwyrm]: ::grins:: You're welcome! XD Hope you can still walk. XD

2006-07-17 [Bookwyrm]: ::runs over to the wall and hugs it:: POOR WALL!!
2006-07-17 [L V F]: well ow hat one hurt
2006-07-17 [kittykittykitty]: Yeah.... that was kinda cruel on it [L V F] ;_; *pats the wall*

2006-07-17 [kittykittykitty]: Whee! ^^ *picks out one of the cookies and nibbles it* Thank you
2006-07-17 [Bookwyrm]: You're welcome! ^-^ I haven't passed out any baked-goods in a long time! I miss doing that...:( Hmm...::begins baking up a storm and making pretty little baskets to fix up for everyone::
2006-07-17 [L V F]: yay,. -eats some cookies as my wing heals up-
2006-07-17 [kittykittykitty]: Nobody can resist the baked goods ^___^ *gets some bandages for [L V F]'s wing and starts to patch it up*
2006-07-17 [Bookwyrm]: Mwuahaha precisely...my baked goods and I will rule the world one day...o.o
2006-07-17 [L V F]: -smiles and gives hugs-
2006-07-17 [Bookwyrm]: Yay hugs! o.o ::decides not to rule the world with her baked goods:: Too much trouble...too many demands...not worth it.
2006-07-17 [BlindGuardian]: *prepares an apple pie anyway* :)
2006-07-17 [kittykittykitty]: Apple pie? Mmmmm ^_____^ *continues stuffing the snacks from [Bookwyrm]* I love foood :D
2006-07-17 [BlindGuardian]: You should come home, then. I'm learning to cook directly from my mom&grandma...
2006-07-17 [zoloftzantac]: hahaha, omg kitty, I love food too! ^__^ *goes to [BlindGuardian]'s house with kitty* :)
2006-07-17 [kittykittykitty]: ^___^ *joins the apple pie-baking tutorial from [BlindGuardian]'s family...... eating too many apples during the process* :0
2006-07-17 [*Suicidal Cupcake*]: ohh, may i come and learn too??
2006-07-18 [BlindGuardian]: Too late, [kittykittykitty] ate all the aples... but I guess we can make a pie-pie?
2006-07-18 [kittykittykitty]: A pie-pie? o.O I suppose I like pie crusts too ^____^ You can teach me the secrets of baked goods :D
2006-07-18 [BlindGuardian]: I's easy... if the outcome is black and smells horrible, you've done something wrong :P
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: Or if the outcome is the same stuff you put into the oven...somethi
2006-07-18 [HowlofDoom]: odd
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: I never figured out why either. XD Never happened again...may have been a problem with the baking soda or whatever, actually can't remember what I put in it XD Happened a few years ago.
2006-07-18 [HowlofDoom]: that is weird....
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods:: Yeah it was. o.o
2006-07-18 [HowlofDoom]: so how are you?
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: Tired. XD Been sleeping all day, after I went for my scan at the hospital of course. So far everything's going good I think. ^-^
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: How about you?

2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: Oh wow! Congratulation
2006-07-18 [HowlofDoom]: I went to France, Italy and malta
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: Oh I'm jealous! I've always wanted to go to Italy! Next time you go I'm going to stow away in your luggage and jump out and scare you somewhere along the way...muwahaha
2006-07-18 [kittykittykitty]: o___O?
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::stares:: Quite.
2006-07-18 [HowlofDoom]: lol, that would be awesome
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::grins:: Yeah except for when they put me in the cargo space at the airport -.-
2006-07-18 [HowlofDoom]: yeah...... that would kinda suck
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: Hmm...maybe I'd just stalk you...That'd be easier. XD
2006-07-18 [HowlofDoom]: lol... it might
2006-07-18 [Bookwyrm]: ::nods...offer
